iPhone Wristlet by Projects by Jane

iPhone Wristlet exterior
In December, 2015, I tested this handy iPhone Wristlet pattern designed by Jane Poh of Projects by Jane. The pattern has sizes for the iPhone 6 and 6 plus. It also fits other smart phones that are in the same size range. The directions are excellent and this can be sewn up very quickly. It can be made with solid pieces of fabric as I did in my test, or it can be done as a patchwork. Directions for both looks are included in the pattern which can be obtained here.

Although it make look a bit tricky, Jane's directions make putting in this curved zipper a breeze.

Until next time, may you sew with joy, stay healthy and be filled with God's awesome blessings!

Rollie Pollie Organizer by Sarah Gido

A few months ago I had the pleasure of testing a delightful organizer pattern created by Sarah Gido of Cozy Nest Designs consisting of four detachable zip pouches that attach to a base with hook and loop tape. Rollie Pollie rolls up to make a compact unit. The flap closes with hook and loop tape. Thge pattern gives the option of using a d-ring or a nice grommet on the top to hang on a door or hook. You can see that I chose to use the grommet.  The pattern includes three sizes listed below. The pattern can be obtained in both PDF or paper formats here or by clicking on the Cozy Nest Designs link on the right of this post.

Finished Sizes - (width x height x depth)
 Small: 8" x 4.75" x 5"
 Medium: 9" x 5.5" x 5.5"
 Large: 10" x 5.75" x 6.5"

I chose to make the small size using vintage cotton and cotton blend fabrics from my stash. I opted not to add the handle.

Sarah's directions are clear and easy to follow. It is a fun project to sew and very useful, Choose the size you need for cosmetics, sewing supplies, crochet or knitting supplies, or other treasures. It makes a great organizer for traveling. Make all three sizes for a great travel set.

Until next time, may you sew with joy, stay healthy and be filled with God's awesome blessings!
