Bag of the Month Club March -- Polaris Bag designed by Sew Sweetness

The Polaris Bag is next in my Bag of the Month catch-up blogs. This bag can be made with in a rectangular or oval shape. Both finish to about 9" long x 6 1/2" tall x 2.5" deep, perfect for when you just want to carry the essentials. I chose to do the oval shape(since I had never before made an oval shaped bag) in charcoal linen with cotton lining a bright red piping.

It is a quick sew bag with an inner zippered pocket and and exterior zipper closure. I added an exterior slip pocket and a interior divided slip pocket that were not part of the original pattern. I also chose to quilt the exterior.

Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness created a really cute bag. The pattern and instructions are easy to follow.

Until next time, may you sew with joy, stay healthy and be filled with God's awesome blessings!
