Seneca Creek Bag designed by Betz White

I recently finished my version of the Seneca Creek Bag by Betz White as part of the Bag of the Month 2015 group. This is a delightful small bag with lots of interesting options. It finishes to just 7.5" high x 10.5" wide x 1.5" deep with an adjustable strap that can be worn over the shoulder or adjusted to fit around the waist. You can find out more about Betz White's patterns by clicking here.

The main compartment closes with a nice secure zipper. It also has an interior zip pocket and an exterior envelope-style pleated pocket that closes with a snap.

As soon as I got the pattern, I began the fun task of digging through my extensive stash to find fabric. I found some lovely greens that seemed just right for this bag.

I found the directions excellent and the bag was quickly sewn together.

This is a great little bag that can be made up in a variety of fabrics to suit every taste. As with the other Bag of the Month patterns, they are currently only available with a membership in the Bag of the Month Club 2015. You can still join the club for this year and immediately receive all five of the patterns currently released. For complete info on the Bag of the Month Club, click here.

Until next time, may you sew with joy, stay healthy and be filled with God's awesome blessings!
